Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
This is a semistructured, confidential approach with a strong evidence base. In this approach, the therapist and client work together using scientifically evidenced methods to help bring about change.
CBT is shown to be effective treating depression and various anxiety disorders including phobias.
Length of session and duration
Sessions normally lasts 50 minutes up to one hour. There is no official maximum number of sessions. However, we will review if the approach has proved helpful to you and if your goals have been met at an agreed-upon interval.
I currently offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at £35 per session which includes the room cost and preparation time.
